my mazi broke up with her girlfriend...
and so i asked " YAY YOU FINALLY BELONG TO ME ALONE!"
"so, where do i stand in your heart?!"
she shrugged and refused to admit that i bagged a prominent place in her heart.
and hence i said, begrudgingly " i know i must be sitting down right!"
-sometimes i am so overwhelmed by my own lameness.
OHMYGWAD!-

i forgot to say this :" JIAYOU CHUN KAIXIN!" i've decided not to sms you cause i know you didn't bring your hp.
my grampie just had a really long talk with me. seriously long. somehow my daddy and grampie like to talk about ren sheng dao li with me and i'm interested in what he has to say. i never knew he had so many stories to share which can really influence my thinking and allow me to gain a better insight of my daddy.
daddy used to be a top soldier when he was serving NS. according to what grampie said, he was offered the chance to go to saudi arabia or something to receive training but he turned it down. said he fell in love too early. i think that's really cool isn't it? daddy used to get all the leadership awards in the army and climbed the coporate ladder really quickly. but turned down the promising future with handsome pay to pursue his degree in building contruction i think. grampie said that daddy should have stayed in the army. got potential yea...
daddy wanted to be a sailor! wow does that mean he can curse like one? i think that's so fascinating la! i want to enter marines but lets see what fate has in store. not bad eh, in the genes. don't really think i'll go that way eventually. anw, due to the qiang lie objections from my grandfather, daddy did not become a sailor. i wonder how would everything be like if he became a sailor... yea right, just singing
row, row, row your boat all the way right. -.-
oh then we started talking about politics. just hearing a different side to the stories that we learnt in the social studies textbook is already enchanting enough, what's more the other stories that were long before my time. yay i'm gonna read about the 6-days middle east war soon! let's hope its as interesting as how grampie painted the story to be :)
i want to know how to differentiate the different ranks in SAF. somebody teach me PLEASE!
i think having grandfather/father-granddaughter/daughter talks is really fascinating. its nice.
alrights off to settle admin work. ciaos :)

its one of my favourite songs by tracy chapman. she's one of my favourite artistes...
Tracy Chapman-Behind the WallLast night I heard the screaming
Loud voices behind the wall
Another sleepless night for me
It won't do no good to call
The police
Always come late
If they come at all
And when they arrive
They say they can't interfere
With domestic affairs
Between a man and his wife
And as they walk out the door
The tears well up in her eyes
Last night I heard the screaming
Then a silence that chilled my soul
I prayed that I was dreaming
When I saw the ambulance in the road
And the policeman said
"I'm here to keep the peace
Will the crowd disperse
I think we all could use some sleep"
peeps, you guys should go listen to her songs (: till then, adieus!
